And we need a CB
Fri Jan 31, 2014 7:13 pm
No thanks he's crap
Fri Jan 31, 2014 7:20 pm
He wasn't crap, but unfortunately let himself go. Hope that he finds a club, and gets himself back on track. He's one of us, Darcy. Wish him well.

he'll be back in the champ or league 1 by summer i reckon if not sooner.
Fri Jan 31, 2014 8:14 pm
Ideal place maybe Newport county for him
Fri Jan 31, 2014 8:19 pm
still think he could do a job at champ level

I genuinely feel sorry for the lad, but this has been coming for a long time (starting with Dave Jones' tenure)
Fri Jan 31, 2014 9:11 pm
I'm going for a Sheffield United deal...

How many of us would have jumped at the opportunity to be a professional footballer. And London based with great wages. I find sympathy difficult to be honest.

Dude got flabby and sick. Shame.

Talking shite??
As
YOU state,
"it's been nearly 3 years" and he obviously didn't learn, so I suggest that maybe DJ was right...and so was Malky too, by the looks of it
Granted he played well for Wales (and
VERY well on one occasion) but the boy has apparently wasted another opportunity to "live the dream"
I'm not sure whether you know Darcy (I certainly don't claim to) personally, but I know where I work
not to heed warnings he has been given would result in exactly the same outcome...just an awful lot earlier than has happened here!

shame to see whats happening to blake he is a good player but unfortunately he is messing up his career by not taking it seriously, hopefully he lands back on his feet and sort himself out, cmon darcy do it for yourself and do it for your fans

Had nothing to do with Jones.
The lad had the talent but not the attitude or desire. Shame but its quite common, sad they only realise after its all gone.

Be lucky to get a game for Tredegar Town

He went to Plymouth and did really well, came back and featured heavily for a time & was a regular for Wales... Then it all fell apart again. Shame for the lad, but it's all his own doing.

Spot on.
Work so hard and throwing it away.
Lot of players who work so hard don't make the grade as a Professional would give it more of a go than he would.
Tredegar Athletic he wouldn't get a look in!
