His agent: “The player is happy to go but time is running out as the logistics are difficult. All parties are trying to make this happen.”

Please for the love of God make it happen. Do his medical tomorrow. He's a Serbian. They don't break often so its worth the risk.

5 and a half hours to fly from Nantes, easy, its only round the corner when you've got a plane!

Time running out if Cardiff want Djordevic
Simon Jones: Cardiff have bid for Ross McCormack but look like missing out on Nantes striker Filip Djordevic despite bidding for him also.
The player's representative Zoran Krneta said Cardiff made an approach to Nantes to take the player until the end of the season, adding: 'The player is happy to go but time is running out as the logistics are difficult. All parties are trying to make this happen.'
Make it happen please, I'd rather Filip than Ross

If it's a loan deal he doesn't need a medical.

I would be absolutely truly bloody ecstatic if we could bring in Ciani, McCormack (perm) and Djordjevic (loan) by the end of the deadline at 11pm. I think then we would have great options throughout our squad and it would definitely say that we WILL stay up. I love McCormack and we should never have let him leave especially for the paltry £350,000 that he did leave for - and considering the summer before we wanted £4-£5m for him and we were turning down bids from other clubs. We should have never brought Chopra back the 2nd time, cause he took McCormacks place. The season before McCormack was our top scorer with 20+ goals and the season that Chopra came back on loan and then perm, McCormack and Bothroyd were starting to gel really well together and they were both scoring goals for us. Thats Dave Jones for you, he always had his favourites and unfortunately McCormack was not one of them.
Come on home Rossco!!
Welcome, Ciani and Djordjevic!?!?!?

European update
BBC World service's Steve Crossman: "Serbian striker Filip Dordevic may be allowed to leave Nantes according to L'equipe. The French paper says that Cardiff City could also move for him.
"The French club have already signed former Swansea City forward Itay Shechter on loan from Hapoel Tel Aviv today and they might now be willing to listen to offers for their top scorer.
""May", "could" and "might" - words I hate writing on any other day, but it's 31 January

^ He's fast, powerful, dynamic and good in the air.
To be honest though his supply makes a lot of those plays, something we're lacking in.
