The Mail Online is writing that Macheda could follow Zaha and Fabio from United to join Solskjaer at Cardiff
Federico Macheda could become the third Manchester United player to join former Old Trafford favourite Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Cardiff City in the transfer window.
Solskjaer has persuaded his old club to let winger Wilfried Zaha move to South Wales on loan until the end of the season after completing a permanent deal for defender Fabio da Silva.
And the two clubs are understood to be in discussions over Macheda, 22, although it remains uncertain whether a deal will go through before tonight’s deadline.
