So if there are any new players coming in those deals will be virtually all done by now barring the medical. Not much time left

You don't have to have a medical for a loan though (although it is advisable)

Providing the player is registered by 11pm I think its ok...last window a player was announced the following day after the window closed...for West Ham...I suppose they are pending a medical.

This is bullshit. A full medical may take 5 hours but on deadline day they rarely bother with a full medical if time is getting tight. If it's coming down to the last few hours it'll often be a case of a doctor asking if the players feels fit and signing off on it. Medical's aren't a requirement for a transfer to go through. The FA doesn't need a medical, it's for the benefit of the club.

Players can sign after deadline day, It's only the paperwork that needs to be submitted before the timescale.

Kind of irrelevant, the loan deadline is not today, the transfer deadline is.
