Don't know why people think swapping everyone will work. Fabio is not better than John.

Hm true but I would have to go with 2 strikers imo. If we get Dann or Ciani I would start one of them ahead of Turner. Turner = Championship football next season.

Kim and FC are too light wright need some strength in that area or opposition CBs will win balls all day long. any two of Eikrem, Whitts and Medel with Mutch in front. I think Fabio will play not because I rate him but because clearly OGS does.

You do realise this is real life not Football Manager.

Were bottom of the league fighting for our lives, we can't just go places with basically 5 attackers and one holding midfielder and expect not to get outplayed by at least 15 teams who are better than us right now.

What's worse is you haven't included Medel in the team, the one world class player we have, and replaced him with a player you've probably never seen play.

We are in talks actually  Someone mentioned to me we've agreed a deal but obviously not. We could get him though

It's a 4-4-2 showing rincon as the defensive midfielder and mutch as the attacking . With two wingers . Campbell will play off the main striker filling the gap between the target man and the midfield .

Medel as a centre back where he is more than capable of playing as proven by his record at international level with chile .

It suits the players we have available and gives a good balance to the team

where are people getting this from?

Ole has been very unpredictable conserning his starting 11,he is known for his extreme rotation philosophy. Transferwindow says it all, you will most likely fail to predict his starting 11 match to match. ;) This has big positive effects in my eyes, teamspirit ftw :ayatollah:

The 'lol' was because people on here thinking we'd sign someone like him.

FFS you can't just start making up a team with players we haven't even signed yet, whats wrong with you lot.

And Medel CB in the prem is mental and would never work. Only works with Chile as they play high up, with 3 CBs and a very different style to us. His height would get taken advantage of big time in the prem.

Wasn't both Ciani and Rincon transfers debunked?

Best & most sensible post of the week on both points.
Idiots on here picking players not signed, probably not even on our radar & wanting them to play against Norwich!!!!!!!!

Genuinely wasn't having a dig at you by the way mate, i just think that if we play a straight 4-4-2 with Zaha as a winger than we will get absolutely ripped to shreads as he will have very little intention of tracking back.

Playing Zaha will only work in 433 in my opinion, or at the VERY least two holding midfielders, and Mutch is best going forward.

About Medel, yes he plays CB for Chile but that's in back 5 and i've said a million times that it's such a different role because he's almost still playing as a midfielder just dropping in as an extra CB.

Medel is so underrated in the role he plays for us by people on this forum, just because he doesn't do anything special going forward people think he goes missing in games but the amount of times he's in the right place at the right time to put a tackle or stop danger is unreal. So I just don't see why we should move him, for me he's the first name on the team sheet in CDM.

Yes he makes the odd lapse every now and then but if he were perfect he'd be at Barca/Man Utd by now with his range of passing and how comfortable he is on the ball too.

For me, our best team would be...

Marshall
Theophile Caulker Turner McNaughton
Medel Whittingham
Noone Mutch Zaha
Jones

As much as I'd love to get Campbell in the team too, I just think we need a better target man up front to stop the ball constantly coming back at us because he's not a hold-up player.
