Cardiff City looking at Cagliari defender Davide Astori.

Cardiff City have made an enquiry for Cagliari defender Davide Astori.

Manager Ole Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has turned to the Italy centre-back, who is also being tracked by Southampton, after being rebuffed in a bid to sign Lazio's Michael Ciani on Thursday.

Astori began his career at AC Milan and has seven caps for Italy. He has been scouted by Manchester United and Tottenham in the past.

Meanwhile, Solskjaer has also opened talks with Hamburg midfielder Tommy Rincon over a cut-price deal.


Cardiff have already completed the loan of Wilfried Zaha from Manchester United and look set to be busy again on deadline day.

The 21-year-old's protracted temporary switch away from Manchester United has eventually been finalised - even if it was up to the player himself to confirm via his Instagram account.

6 odd million I believe!

8 million Euros is currently £6,573.900 approx

This seems to good to be true. He is a top level CB. Been tracked by MAn U and many others for some time.
If we get him, OGS is god!
