Andreas Cornelius is heading back to Copenhagen
FC Copenhagen coach Stale Solbakken is excited by the prospect of Cardiff City striker Andreas Cornelius rejoining his squad .
After agreeing to take the 6ft 4in striker back to the Superliga, the delighted coach told bold.dk : "He has some of what we might have lacked a little in the autumn.
"He has the physical presence and the power that enables him to threaten any defence.
"We often play against teams that don't have great height, so there is a great advantage to have a big striker who can , head in lots of goals.
"It is often the case when you have had a serious injury and there comes a manager change that players leave clubs.
"But we must see the physical and mental state he is in, and then take it from there.
"He will get a good start with us when we go to our training camp.
"The deal is not quite completed yet , but we expect it to happen soon."

Hope we got a sell-on clause included. Remember how bad Diego Forlan was for Man Utd? He went on to become one of Uruguay's best ever players!!!! You never know/!!!!!

As much as I didnt rate him what I seen, I would have thought we would have been better shipping him on loan to get fitter, build experience and free up our wage bill. At least then we might have got some fo the money back in summer if it still wasnt the case....

Best of luck to him,
It was not his fault at all, the craziness of paying 8million for a player in Danish football firmly lies with Moddy & Mackay.
Lets not forget all managers make transfer mistakes...Fellaini 35mil etc

I wonder if there's a buy back clause that Cardiff have first refusal to sign him if another club decides to buy him? Hope it works out him and he turns or to be a decent player
