Popularity contest or a place where we can discuss football matters and respect opinions?

I ask this question because I am sick and tired as I am sure many are of a small section of posters who are here because they want to be known and popular as if they are in a school yard,all they can do is hijack perfectly good threads because they have a personal vendetta against certain posters.I think the mods need to step up and ban these people as I feel this once great site is getting monotonous and boring.
