Bluebirds hope to sign Italian international.

Cardiff City will look to lure Juventus forward Fabio Quagliarella before the end of the January transfer window according to Sports Direct News.

Newly appointed boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already brought in five players this month and will see the capture of the experienced Italian international as the icing on the cake as he looks to strengthen his side as they push to avoid the drop.

30-year-old Quagliarella was already something of a bit-part player at Juventus and the summer arrivals of Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente have rendered the former Napoli man very much surplus to requirements.

Cardiff City will hope to bring in Quagliarella on loan until the end of the season with a view to a possible permanent deal in the summer.

The Bluebirds are currently bottom of the Premier League having managed just 17 goals in 23 fixtures and a run of six defeats in seven have left the club in serious danger of an immediate return to the Championship.

He has been linked to every club on the planet, everyone keeps expecting him to go somewhere but he thinks too highly of himself to play for the clubs that would want him. Trust me, I'm a Juve fan. He'd rather rot. Total waste of time for backroom staff.
