NOONE OR COWIE?

Can someone please try and explain why, when faced with the choice of playing Noone or Cowie, Malky would always choose Cowie?
Why would he do that? It defies all sense. Wasn't he employed to try and win football matches?
One of so many unexplained phenomena from what looks like six months of complete madness.

Malky wanted to win games obviously, just the way he wants to win games is just hopeless in this division. Tried to carry on what we done last season in quite a lot of games.

When Malky's kids walked around the pitch last season one of them had Cowie written on their shirt... We cracked up when we saw it!

Why the abuse for Cowie? His best game was against United where he kept them under wraps and did a good job, he's a CM, not a winger
