Football is a fast moving game just like any other business. Thats life my friend unless you work right at the bottom and you're just another disposable asset to a man and his cheque book. If you're at the top its a numbers game, its moving constantly, evolving, people fall out, relationships fail, etc.

You need to get used to it. An employee at one level may not be suitable at another. Thats no different to a software engineer being fine for Google as a start up project but then once the boom happens and the company rises up the SE then it needs more experienced developers.
