If Cornelius is going back?!?!?!

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=134341

surely we are going in for another striker with jones and campbell our front 2 as berget is attacking mid/ forward.

mason clearly cant cut the prem or isnt going to be given the chance and maynards out on loan so we only have 2 strikers??

I think he will go in for a striker with a big fee 5-10 million as he hasnt spent that much money this window.

Thats also 3 of malkys signings that signed in the summer and now have gone if he does go:

cornelius
brayford
odemwingie

I said a bit late, not too late ;)

Let's be fair AC is a bit out of left field here. If it is Finn then bravo to our recruitment team, whoever they are.

Yes thank f**k,the amount of money lost is sickening, I'm sure Tan will make Cardiff city pay for it in the long run, he defo will not take a big hit like that. I don't blame Tan tho I blame that idiot malky and his sidekick moody

You are pathetic. If Finnbogason turned out to be shit, you'd be on here crying over wasted money. You haven't got a fkin clue whether he'd be good.

Sell everyone, they are all shit.

Daily Mail said at the start of the month he was on top of Ole's list, maybe we've been outpriced for him or that but he was also a Malky target as well and Ole signed Daehli even from the previous regime. I'd bloody love Finnbogason here, exactly what we need

The truth is starting too not unfold but avalanche out of the CCS the total ineptitude and naivety of our previous manager beggar's belief, no wonder Mr Tan was livid and rightly so.
Also the way Tan has conducted himself is very professional in the sense all these revelations were kept hush hush. I think if I was Malky I would not be sleeping very well …......

Just been informed that the club are trying to strike a deal where the will not have to pay 70% of his wages off, it should be alot less.

If Acorn and Cornelius are both left to leave, its freeing up money for a replacement.
Finbogason was 1st to come into the thinking but would love us to go for Jordan Rhodes.
Guaranteed oles got someone inline if acorn does leave. Mama biram diouf is another option Ole seems to like

Vossen, Finnbogasson, Abdellaoue, Scocco.

Any of those four would be amazing signings.

But shifting Cornelius’ reportedly substantial wages off the salary bill would aid Solskjaer’s bid to add further new faces to his squad before close of transfer business on Friday and the club’s push for Premier League survival.

looks like he will be going for someone else as expected

imagine how better that money could of been spent not having ago at cornelius but as malky said "hes one for the future" the top 4 spend millions on players for the future but a club coming up to spend 7.5 million on a risk/gamble was massive we could of had someone like defoe for eg that pedigree.

It isnt cornelius fault but it was always a massive gamble and the money should of been spent so much better by moodie and malky

Exactly, for those wages we could of signed the best strikers in the Dutch league
