Zaha - Hold Up??

Wed Jan 29, 2014 8:32 am

I notice from the press reports from last night that Zaha is still to sign up on loan for the rest of the season. This is a saga that has been dragging on and on.

Initially David Moyes did not want to release Zaha due to his squad injuries but they seem to have sorted themselves out. Moyes has discussed Zaha going to Cardiff and I understand that he would not want him playing for us against Utd but that could have been written into his contract.

He had his medical over the weekend so why the hold up? Is it just a case of Man Utd playing games or is there more behind it?

We could certainly could do with him for Saturday and the rest of the season.

Apparently the chairman told Wales online last night his loan and the Fabio transfer are all sorted
Zaha couldn't have played last night even if he had been signed in time. Premier league rules do not let teams play against their parent club when they are on loan
