Hudson not good enough

Too slow, Ben turner also not good enough because he ain't got no composure on the ball and plays hoofball, we could do with a centre half cos turner and Hudson could Cost us points

Why pick on Hudson? You could level that criticism at most of the team given the position we are in. Our season depends on whether the new signings have any impact.

Ain't picking on him just stating the fact he ain't premier league standard and if he is gonna be playing week in week out then it is worrying for us and we will be dodgy at the back

Well I'm afraid if all our transfer business is done then we are going to struggle. We need a mobile, intelligent centre half who can pass a ball to play along side Caulker. Preferably with Premier league, La Liga or Bundesliga experience. :ayatollah:

I worked that one out at Wembley in 2010! He did shock me how he did last season, nice guy but I think the Championship is defo the best he can play in my eyes.

Have a bit of respect.
While I agree he's not premier league standard IMO, he's a top class championship player. He's certainly not a donkey.
Was superb for us last year.

Fulham, West Brom, Sunderland, Stoke, Palace, Hull - Name me any of their centre backs which are better than Caulker, Hudson and Turner.

Palace have league one centre backs.

We don't need a centre back.

Ole is going backwards picking him and McNaughton. Aa bad as Malky was at least he had the presence of mind not to pick those two in important games.

hangerland, shawcross, huth, curtis davies, o'shea. i would take all 5 of these over hudson and turner.

I agree about Hudson, but not about Turner.

So what if he's not a ball-playing defender, we don't have the players for that type of game anyway - which is why I worry we'll go down under Solskjaer - but Turner is an excellent defender.

Haha so would I :P

Hell, I'd play Hangeland alone as CB with 10 men instead of Turner and Hudson :P

Joking aside, there are some good CBs in the Championship that are eligible for a move up, I'd say Ole needs to target Scott Dann or similar before it's too late.

Have said for a while neither Hudson or Turner are good enough.

Jesus, what is this all based on? the first goal could have been dealt with maybe ye but im pretty sure it was on caulkers side of defence and the second goal was mcnaughtons man cutting inside and not even medel closed him down quick enough. stop looking to blame players who haven't got a big enough name for your liking. the truth is, even caulker, medel etc make mistakes.

Firstly I didnt say I would replace Caulker, try specsavers.

And in answer to your statement I would prefer any one or two of the following instead of Turner or Hudson -

Olsen WBA 181 apps most of them in the Premier League 24 Swedish caps
Senderos Fulham 84 apps for Arsenal 45 apps for Fulham total 129 Premierships apps Swiss international
Hangeland Fulham 204 apps for Fulham all in the Premiership 89 Norwegian caps
Davies Hull City Played for WBA, Villa, Birmingham, and Hull in the Premiership
O'Shea Sunderland 256 apps for Man U 81 apps for Sunderland all Premiership 93 republic of Ireland caps
Brown Sunderland 232 apps for Man U 30 apps for Sunderland all Premiership 23 England caps
Shawcross Stoke 229 apps for Stoke mainly Premiership 1 England Cap
Huth Stoke 42 apps for Chelsea 53 apps for Middlesbro 148 apps for Stoke all premiership except 6 apps for Middlesbro in Championship 19 German caps

As for Palace they have had 4 clean sheets in their last 8 games hardly league one defending.

Oh and by the way we have the second worse goals against and goal difference in the Premiership despite Malkys ultra negative defensive tactics.

So there you go can Hudson or Turner match any of the experience above, answer no they carnt, they are both Championship standard at best, I rest my case.

Hudson is not good enough for the Prem, been a great asset for us and watched him from season one where he just became a rock past 2 seasons.

He is sadly not good enough and in the summer if we are to stay up then we need to look elsewhere.

The guy is a top pro and really nice fella.

Always been involved with any work off the field with the club and there was something either last season or the season before where he done something on his own accord in Cardiff.

We need to look better next season if we go up, weren't he POTY last season for us? Says a lot that a Centre Back was our best player because past few years defenders are not getting the credit they deserve. Will be spoken about by a few City fans if we mention previous defenders. :ayatollah:
