still travelling

Wed Jan 29, 2014 1:52 am

Didn't know Manchester was that far. Just woke up Street 4 hours travelling on the bus and we're still North of Birmingham.

Major traffic diversion by Stafford. Our coach has now stopped at services just south of brum as we've on the road so long and he has to have a 45 min break. We'll now get back to the CCS at 4:30am. Arse Biscuits.

I was so glad to see the services after that diversion, window licking thirsty, still on M6!!! :(

Just arrived outside Cambridge - left M6 at Stoke due to the closure, hacked across to derby to join the M1, got on the A14 to find not only the M11 closed before my hotel but the A14 also closed nearby.

All for emergency roadworks.

Too tired to sleep...hope we score on Saturday cos we are doing a damn good impression of a virgin in a White House at the moment:-(

Just got home. What a f*cking nightmare. Missed 5 mins of the first half because of the traffic jam M5/M6. Then they the M6 is closed on the way home, more f*cking traffic jams and diversions.

Finally get on the heads of valley road to find another diversion.

Glad it's over

Nightmare both ways with traffic today. Made me laugh at the sight of so many United & Liverpool fans travelling 'home' in the services!

Yep you've got it. We probably know each other. I've played footy for Caldicot, Chepstow and Mathern. I now run and still play in the world famous Mathern Vets team.
