Sunderland we were 10 seconds from 3 points
West Ham we just couldn't score

Would've been looking to four points from the last two mentioned and got one, that's the disappointment.

IMO we need at least 9 points from Feb or we'll be heading for the trap door.

Played 23 games and have 18 points, we need minimum of 18 points from the next 15... Feb is massive. If I had to put folding money on it... I'd put it on us being relegated in 18th position, but I'll hang in there!

Look at the next five games who I see as rivals:

Stoke - Man U, Man C, Swansea, Southampton, Arsenal = 1 point...
Fulham - Southampton, Man Utd, Liverpool, West Brom (A), Chelsea = 3 points max
Sund - Newcastle (A), Hull, Man City, Southampton, Arsenal, Man City = 3 points
Palarse - Arsenal, West Brom, Everton, Man Utd, Swansea (a) = 3 points

Something people don't seem to realize, our season starts now, it's make or break in February and if we can't get away with wins we deserve to be relegated

That gives me some comfort, some very hard games for our rivals there. I have been encouraged by the performances since Ole has taken over and take comfort from the Cup results that we can get some decent points next month

long way to go and we got some good games coming up,as long as we create chances we will do ok,other teams have to play some big teams so theres no need to panic yet .we have new players coming in which always picks a team up and zaha and noone will cause some havoc.

You need to include Norwich in your list. If we beat them which I'm confident that we will, then they have Man City (H), West Ham (A) and Spurs (H) next, so I only see them getting 1 point at West Ham. Their last 4 games are Liverpool (H), Man U (A), Chelsea (A) and Arsenal(H), so they won't want to rely on their last 4 matches. In between they have Villa (A), Stoke (H), Southampton (A), Sunderland (H), Swansea (A), West Brom (H) and Fulham (A). I think they will struggle to get 10 points from those 6, but if they do it would leave them on 36 before the last 4, so their position is not as comfortable as it looks.

Very true although would love to have had at least one prolific striker to bang in the chances as we have a lot of good players but none are very good at finishing off chances.
