So Frustrating...

Yes, it was Man United. Yes, we kept possession well and looked competent at times - there were some really good passages of play.

But again, it seemed to be all hard work and no end product. I find us like Wales to watch sometimes - you just hope the ball will end up at a striker's feet or on his head in the box - it's all nearlies and what ifs, with balls whizzing past players in the box and not quite reaching them. Ever.

We're desperate for another striker behind Campbell I think. We know with the likes of Noone and Mutch we can penetrate really well into their half, but we're not having creating anything like as many chances as we should be.

I just hope things start to turn for us against the lesser sides - and I'm including Swansea in that, as they're struggling as well. The Jacks, Norwich, Villa, all those teams - we need to be taking the game to them and making chances.

The other thing we tend to do is stand off players running towards our box - this is how Yaya Toure scored against us last time, and also how an average player like Ashley Young manages to find the net - hell, if our boys had given me that much room, even I'd have scored that f*cking goal...

Rant over.

bit unfair about the young goal, yes we could have closed down a bit faster but was one hell of a strike. As with Campbell for me he is not the strike we need in this formation. he needs someone up with him in my view. but im sure ole knows what he's doing better than me :ayatollah:
