Held our own considering their players. Defensively I think we can still cope. Attacking wise Ole needs to drill some positivity into their mindset. And f*cking drop whitts!

I think we played very well. Last 20 of first half and up to the 2nd goal we had all posession. At one stage we had 68% overall at OT so I think yes positives.

Whitts too deep again though for me and scared shytless to venture forward, and for that Id have him sit down for Norwich

January is now out of the way.

Whitts and Mutch were v good and Noone in first half. Stating the bleeding obvious but there's no cutting edge without Mutch and Noone. Zaha and Kenwyne better be good!

i thought we played well against a utd side feeling more confident due to mata and van persie.. it was bad timing for us.. a week earlier we would have had something out of this game..i thought fraier was poor last night, lots of running but was always in wrong place and ball retention was poor, same goes to bellamy. noone was superb and so was mutch. whitts was excellent, medel was medel. we are improving and adapting to oles more attractive style of play, i just hope he does not run out of time this season..at times last night they still had the urge to pass backwards when it was easier to find a man in space in front of them. they need more confidence in that department and to get out of the old habits..maybe with jones up front and too exciting wingers in zaha and noone things might progress on the goal front.. going to be exciting though..
