He played awesomely! He was all around the pitch keeping the game moving prodding and probing.

What do people expect? Iniesta style through balls every pass and volleys to the top corner?

Spot on. Was pulling all our strings tonight, keeping posession and building our play.

Ole just said he was very pleased with our posession play but final third we had to do better, and get more shots off.

Whitts was good. Medel was crap. People won't admit it because of the transfer fees. Easy to blame a player who cost next to nothing than a player who cost a stupid amount. Thats why Cornelius gets no stick yet Gestede got loads even though he's better.

Whitts was great tonight, I thought. I even had to double check it was him, when he went sliding in for a challenge! Fair play, he still missed the tackle completely, but can't remember last time I saw him throw himself in.

OGS is restoring his confidence. Whether he'll have time to prove his worth with Eikrem and Daehli hot on his heels is another matter.

Whitts gives me the shits, Medel isn't looking as good under Oles attacking set up. Or maybe he's carrying toomuch timber.

I worry about our defence, this new attacking style is exsposing our centre backs. they look poor.

Played well tonight and he seems more confident carrying the ball now. Been critical of him this seaosn but I am more that happy to praise him aswell. Maybe Ole is having a postive influence on him

I've criticised Whittingham since around Christmas last season but I think since Ole has arrived his performances have improved slightly. He lacks pace and mobility but he's always been comfortable on the ball. Whitts just needs to improve his urgency and release the ball a bit quicker at times. Too often, by the time Whitts goes to play a pass, the opposition get back in position and Whitts then has to play it sideways or backwards instead, killing all our forward momentum.
