Honest a god he needs to hang up his boots and go as a coach or summit hes past it for me clearly, yes good in his time but now we got players who can give more sitting in the stands tbh let alone the bench

I agree thought he was hopeless tonight how he wasnt subbed instead of Noone beggars belief

The type of yuppy fan thats ruining the working mans game. I bet you eat cockles and drink champagne you've snuck in under your duffel coat at half time don't you as well? Bloody yuppies.
Tue Jan 28, 2014 10:54 pm
Bellamy's been past it since we signed him.
He hasn't been the same since Speed died tbh, one or two flashes but generally poor.

One good game doesn't mean he isn't past it either.
Bellamy has been poor since he came here. He relied on his pace and now it is gone. He is a very ordinary player who should be nowhere near our first team.

Ok what about the jacks game.

His attitude bothers me more, tries to run everything, corners, freekicks, bossing people around, refusing to play for certain managers, Probably already in /OLEs EARHOLE NONSTOP. He has something to offer still, just concentrate on playing his position and not being a backseat driver for the manager.

Yes he was okay in that but he was bang average in the Championship and has been poor with the exception of two games in the Premier League.
Some people are blinded by him being a local lad to see he isn't good any more and we should be adding better wingers to our squad.

Bellamy is no cheap ham, he's tescos finest, costly yet bog standard.
Wed Jan 29, 2014 4:24 am
I thought Bellamy was everywhere tonight, dropping deep to pick the ball up, running forwards, giving it, receiving it back, it was the old buzzy Bellamy. I'm stunned everyone thinks he was poor tonight.

But why eat the expensive ham when you got cheaper ones that give you more for your money in the fridge (other players) hes absolute garbage now and would only get in some div two teams by name only to pull fans in imo

Top player in his prime but oldwood now, give him a coaching role at the club and let better players play i say
Wed Jan 29, 2014 7:34 pm
I'm guessing you didnt watch the west ham game
Him & Noone were the only two who looked like juicy gammon slices from the deli counter - not old ham
I think if he is played sporadically we can still get the best out of him - you can lose your legs as you get older but you will never lose class
Wed Jan 29, 2014 11:52 pm
He was all over the place but ineffective everywhere. The result was that he did not support his full back and his gesticulations to team mates when something wrong was dreadful. It was like watching the classroom bully demanding that every player pass him the ball and then shouting and waviing when someone had the audacity to pass to someone else.
Was fullly expecting him to have been replaced at half time. In fact once we got to 2-0 down I couldn't believe OGS did not change our defensive shape and negative way of playing. We seeemed to have a (defensive) structure but no idea what to do and what shape to make once we got into their last third of the pitch.

what a mentalist statement to say have you been smoking the old morroccon woodbine ?

IMO he should be played up front as he is more of a threat

As a fan my personal opinion, Bellamy is past it,to many personal problems, injuries, might play a good game say one in 8 games, Weve wasted big money on him this season, please dont renew his contract.
