Solskjaer is regarded as a legend for scoring the winning goal in the CL final in added time. If you look at his career at Man Utd he was used mainly as a substitute. When you consider other legends, how many of those were regular bench-warmers. Just think that the word "legend" is sometimes a little over-used.

Your first sentence says it all.
Your resident weirdo needed 12 pages to argue against that simple fact

You can't quote the first sentence without also quoting the last sentence otherwise it's out of context. I accept that some people regard him as a legend but the word is over-used. What's so difficult to understand about that. Also, I note that you don't disagree with the middle two sentences.

The fact that he was a substitute often doesn't change the fact. He also covered the right wing role after Beckham left, and stayed at Man Utd despite offers from other clubs - one by Tottenham in the summer of 1998, which Utd agreed but Solskjær refused. How often do you hear Man Utd supporters sing Andy Cole, Teddy Sheringham or Dwight Yorke songs at Old Trafford?

Answer me this, who actually decides who a legend is? I would say it's the fans of the club, and the fans of man utd class him as a man utd legend, end of.

So, on that basis, Alan Tate is a legend! Agree?

Tony, I cant wait until I win my bet against him and he refuses to quit the forum proving what a snivelling little liar he is.
Oh and Ince looks like he could be on his way to Liverpool as well given that this guy is usually on the money.

Bet with Roathie.
Ince signs for Swansea in the summer - I pay £5 to Cancer Research UK and leave the forum.
Ince signs for Liverpool in the summer - Roathie pays £5 to Ty Hafan and leaves the forum.
If Ince signs a pre contract now with Liverpool and still goes on loan to Swansea before moving to Liverpool watch Roathie squirm out of it saying that he actually signed in January and then moved and did not sign in the summer. He will do whatever necessary to get out of this bet whereas even if he signs for Swansea on a perm at the end of this window I'm still man enough to hold up my end of the bargain. He won't. He will twist it.

He's a fantasist. I can't remember what it was but under the Roath magic account there was an ongoing dispute over a bet he welched on. He'll never leave the forum. It's a big part of his life
