Decent squad cover as he can play left and right.

The whole idea of the squad is to have cover injuries or areas where there is a limited supply of cover.

McNaughton has been playing recently and can cover both sides of defence. He's a very decent player and also versatile.

He may or may not be Ole's first choice, but he will almost certainly remain in the squad.

There are many other fringe players that appear unlikely to feature, such as Smith, that are more likely to be outside the 25 man squad.

You also need clubs to want to take the players. Like f**k anyone would buy Tommy Smith
