Swansea sign Ngog

Mon Jan 27, 2014 3:00 pm

The jacks have signed Ngog.

probably the funniest piece of news I have heard in this transfer window

On a free, on a contract till the end of the season. If he's crap, they can get rid, if he is great, offer him a longer contract. He is also young.

I'd be more excited for him than lumping Kenwyne with a huge contract.

He honestly isn't.

A loanee in as a third choice striker and he can't be any worse than Vazquez that's for sure

Yes !

I would accept that neither have the greatest of records but in terms of what Jones offers us in the air having been out and strengthened our wide players, he's well worth a shot as we simply don't have a forward who's strength is in the air.

As for Ngog, not sure what his strengths are. Neat on the ball but I'd be amazed if he was anything more than a sub for the Jacks .............. unless Bony is injured of course !!

Re: Swansea sign Ngog

Mon Jan 27, 2014 3:08 pm

That is a shocking signing ,truly ,he is garbage ,hasn't done anything struggled in the championship, have to wonder what is going on down there ,hardly a signing the scummers can be pleased with but no doubt we'll have some talking him up like he's some kind of next ronaldo !!

Probably switch michu to CF before playing him as well , obviously bolstering the squad , oh well at least we're not bottom ;)

Hes crap. Jones is much better. Anyone thinks different is off their heads. Jones has been playing PL consistently. Ngog has performed in Championship and thats it. How are they any similar?

Jones has 7 years in the PL. Ngog scored 12 games over 4 years in the PL so Swansea should get 1 or 2 goals out of him no problem given half the season has gone already. 12 in 96 games. Thats 1 in 8. He's so clinical. 8-)

Jones has 39 in 182. Thats like 1 in every 4.5 games. Jones is the much better player. Swansea fans are deluded. We're getting a stronger player who can actually hold up the ball, a player with a better strike rate and more PL experience and they're getting Ngog.

Is ngog on loan a worse signing than Cornelius for 8 mill and 45k a week , come on someone's got to have an opinion

Not its not.

The original quote was

waddle wrote:Do you think Jones is much better , honestly.

implying that theres not much between them yet Jones is much better and the stats and his experience prove it.

If he had said Cornelius I would agree. Cornelius is dreadful.

In the order of quality its quite obvious its Jones ----> Ngog ----> Cornelius.
