Ignacio Scocco - rival bidder and a snag

Mon Jan 27, 2014 2:39 pm

Who has the deepest pockets? Cardiff City or Sunderland? Bit of a snag with this deal his old club Newell Old Boys reckon they are still owed money from his sale to Internacionale and are preventing the transfer. Could go to the wire this one, hope Ole has other irons in the fire :ayatollah:

With the arrival of Berget and Zaha I believe this one is a non runner now. I think the only place we will strengthen now is Centre Half.

Looks quality would make this transfer window and signings for us top draw if scocco signed. Him playing in behind jones with zaha and noone or daehli out wide would be a lethal attack

He would be a great acquisition but I can't see how you can drop Campbell! His movement has been outstanding, I understand jones will be a threat with width but until Campbell starts playing badly I can only see him being used as an impact player.

To be fair, you couldn't leave him on the bench.

I think the formation will have to be changed.

I wouldn't be to disappointed if we get him or not.
