Fa cup good or bad for league position ?

Sun Jan 26, 2014 10:38 pm

Our home tie against Wigan is jammed in between two huge games against aston villa and hull both home ! Three home games in a row .

Wonder what type of team we will play

Also if we win the next round clashes with another huge game at home to Fulham which will then be moved to midweek .

Glad ole is bumping squad numbers up with good players it looks like we will need them :ayatollah:

Also Kenwyn jones will be cup tied . Not sure if you're cup tied if you've played in the league cup for a team since it's still a fa cup competition ? Anyone know ? If you are then zaha and fabio would be aswell

Hope we go for the cup now we have a great chance of making another final :ayatollah:

Good at the moment, our squad is growing and it gives ole a chance to learn without costing prem points

I can only see it becoming a hindrance if we get taken to a replay. At the moment it can only be good for momentum.

Hindrance in the championship, I wouldn't say it's such a problem in the prem

While Ole is still sorting his team out the cup has actually been quite useful. Given us some no pressure games to integrate the newcomers. :ayatollah:

only cup-tied if they've played in the FA Cup. The Capital One Cup doesn't come into it.

I wasn't sure because they are both fa competitions .
Thought maybe if you had played in one you were fully cup tied

Fabio got sent off against Swansea so he;s definitely cuptied.

Zaha though was only on the bench, does that count or not?
