It's like the full transfer window, not the January one !!!!

Sun Jan 26, 2014 9:26 pm

We are signing more players than many teams do in the main window, we are definitely going for it :ayatollah:

I am surprised how active we have been....

Exactly. If we spend and go down we're financially in the crap and if we don't spend and go down we're financially in the crap. I reckon we're certs for financial disaster either way. There comes a point when even the most ruthless and stubborn businessmen have to say enough is enough.

It all depends on whether Tan sticks around for good, like abramovich, the glaziers etc and does not mind losing a couple of quid before he actually can start making money from cardiff.

They are far richer than Tan and can generate huge income from owning two of the biggest sides in the world.

Comparing them with Cardiff is futile. I think Tan has realised simply being in the Prem and changing a kit to red and spending a few quid doesnt make Cardiff Champions League contenders.

I remember QPR doing exactly the same this time last season.

Difference is that Ole knows the players we're bringing in.

Money doesn't come into it.They were bottom of the league and made a shitfull of signings in January to get out of the mess they were in.Same as you have.

Have we? :? We've made two signings to date. No more than any other premier league club. We've got a swap arranged with another player. Zaha may come in on loan, just like you loaned Sigurdsson 2 years ago..

Hardly made a huge number of signings.

The loan fee for Zaha is £1.5 reported alone.

Id say spends are a good £7m so far in Jan.

Can't really compare to qpr, the league is much tighter this season

Didn't really have a system though did they, just a scattergun approach.

OGS has picked up players through his contact at Man U and Norway, like Brenda did with Chelsea, and Laudrup did in Spain, both were pretty successful in the transfer market using their influence and experience.

QPR were also cut adrift at the bottom, not a few points from the top half of the table.

I think six is quite a lot, but some are bargains for the future, and some are to replace current players and add something different, and talk of a few more.

I think OGS has dome really we'll and will keep us up...

Of course. Nobody has actual figures.

£1.5m was reported for Zaha, £5m combined for the two Norgs, Jones is a swap... And the rest I have not red a fee.

Considering 4 of the signings come to a reported £6.5m then £7m+ for everyone seems fair to me

Try again - 600k for Mats Daehli (steal of the century), and 2m for Magnus Eikrem.
