Nothing personal mate, but its typical of a small town mentality. Apart from your ridiculous signature, you tend to be one of the more sensible jack posters here, but the majority have no idea about football before you reached the prem or what happens in the real world.

I don't condone what any fan says, shouts or shares when it goes beyond the bounds of acceptability - certainly racist and violent comments / chants are unacceptable - there is a small percentage of fans from all teams who participate in this kind of stupid behavior, sadly.

The difference is though that this fan chose to directly communicate with a professional footballer who is about to sign for his rivals and told him to kill himself.

While both of the above are despicable and cowardly I find the mentality of someone who goes directly to another person telling them to kill themselves particularly bizarre.

I guess this is the issue with social media. It gives idiots direct access to celebrities and people of note. Some people just can't handle it.
