' FABIO, ZAHA AND JONES '

Sun Jan 26, 2014 1:52 pm

Fabio on a permanent deal.

Zaha on loan until the end of the season.

Kenwyne Jones in a player swap deal.

All three are at St George's Park, where City are training between the Bolton and Man Utd games, to undergo their medicals. :ayatollah:

With Ramis deal looking likely after City offered better personal terms than Palace as well Ole has got stuck in to shaping the squad he wants to fight the relegation battle, it is a busy transfer window.

Going to be an exciting and no doubt nervous end to the season :ayatollah:

I have great faith well easily stay up, Ole is assembling quite a attacking team and it looks like he's picked up a few things from the master fergie over the years too. Our biggest worry will be at the end of the season when Man utd come sniffing for ole and Daeli, I can see it coming already :)

Certainly couldn't accuse OGS of not being proactive, the best thing about all this for me is that he has already shown in his short term as manager he is prepared to make changes and shake it up if things aren't working or players are under performing .
We will have as strong a squad as ever with plenty of choices off the bench, it's going to be one hella of a ride til the seasons end. :ayatollah:

The Ramis transfer seems to have gone quiet Carl
I hope these players gel quickly as we haven't got time to bed them in

Any news on Kenwyne Jones' contract?

It seems Stoke are just taking on Peters current contract. Are we doing the same or is it a new deal.

There was also Twitter talk that we were also giving Stoke £2million. Anyone heard anything?

Been told we have blown Palace out of the water with wages Steve, hopefully we will get a deal wrapped up as we need a centre half to partner Caulker.

I agree that these new players really do need to hit the ground running, we ain't got time on our side to get the required amount of points :ayatollah:

Ole is a cert to stay for at least another full season. Daehli might be different. If he really is as good
as that cameo suggests, and plays most of the games between now and the end of the season then I
can see £10m-£15m offers in the summer

St George's is also not far from Wigan to meet Ramis and his agent to get a deal and the medical sorted .

Then we just have to hope the new signings can gel and get us the wins we need ASAP. :ayatollah:

Can't see it myself, the days of Cardiff being a selling club are long gone, it would take an offer double that to consider selling IMO, that's if he fullfils his potential of course.

We thought that of Kim this season.

Think him and Noone could do with putting in 1/2 stone .

When was the last time we actually sold a player? Been a while lol. We'd be crazy to sell our good players, even if we got relegated they would bring us back up so keep them all (almost all)

Will these 4 be the lot do you think Carl? Or can we expect some excitment over the coming days.

    It would be a very boring last week of the transfer window if our business is concluded already. Always a few beers watching SSN dramatise players driving their cars away after training!

Great news that. Just saw the report on Sky Sports News and it would appear that only personal terms now need to be sorted on all three.

Tell me about it. I'm not happy unless we're chasing down a player with hours to go. I don't even care if we fail just want the involvement. :)

Already booked Friday off work. Be a waste if Ole makes us efficient and business is done early.

Zaha and Jones are in Cardiff. I seen them down the house of sport when watching Futsal.

Edit: they were in Cardiff earlier today

Remember when Ben started a rumour that Given was joining about 3 years ago, people were placing bets all over the place and got the price dropped to 1/33. He really got some stick and lost some people a fair bit of money.

Perhaps its time to power up the Giggs to Cardiff rumour just to keep interest until 11pm next Friday.

Him and Ole are obviously close friends and Giggs wants to start in coaching.

Pulis said to be "very irate" at his Chairman's so-called transfer policy and may be looking at his own position after 'promises' made appear to have been reneged on

Whispers from down west that Ludrup is also 'close to the edge' in his relationship with his chairman, prompting rumours he may not last until the end of the season

Allardyce still 'looking over his shoulder' after more managerial links with his position (Malky links gone quiet)

Fulham lucky to survive their game today against 10 men for over 30 minutes and their manager already 'under pressure'

Cheer up everybody. Our club's immediate future looks positively rosy in comparison to some

Ole, Ole, Ole, Ole...you can't keep down a City fan! :notworthy: :notworthy:
