Odemwingie Poorest signing this year?

Big wages, Big fee for his age, Done nothing and now we are swapping him for someone who's out of contract at the end of the season, Im happy with Jones 100% but Odemwingie is a VERY POOR signing. I also find it weird stoke have announced that there is a potential swap without it being completely sealed

well,he has had game time..scored..and is valued enough by another club to want him, wasnt our most expensive signing, or even close to being our highest paid player............so no....not by a million miles
btw..i dont think he has played well for us........and think the swap is good business.......but worse signing this year?

Never really had a chance here. We played too negative for his style and not the right formation. He thrives on the right side of a 4-3-3 yet we never once played that style. We needed a tall striker who was strong to hold the ball up and not someone like Odemwingie who was bought in my opinion as a desperate late buy to cover up the Cornelius transfer.

I think Cornelius was a bit better than Leo Fortune West I reckon.

Saw some good performances from him.. Malky sadly had no real style or actual formation that used players for their ability.

A lot of the time Odemwingie tried to do too much while he was on the ball, and majority of the time he lost it. Hopefully we're not shelling out anymore on the swap deal and getting Kenwyne Jones. £2 mill for him isnt a bad price

My thoughts exactly. He seems a genuine enough guy but he has looked way off his best for us.
