There’s not much to cheer Whites fans at present, so it’s a good job that the visitors have Vincent Tan to provide amusement. If reports coming out of South Wales are to be believed, the Malaysian businessman has now recommended signing players with an 8 in their birth date, as it’s considered lucky.
It should be noted here that Zat Knight was born on 2nd May 1980. That’s just the one eight, Vincent, but how many do you need? Zat’s been lucky for lots of club, just not Bolton. If a fee of around half a million pounds can be agreed there could be a deal here. We’d offer you more to take him off our hands, but money’s a bit tight at present. You can collect him after today’s game. Thanks.
