Club in talks with Bluebirds forward...

STOKE CITY can confirm it has reached an agreement with Cardiff City over a move for striker Peter Odemwingie that will see Kenwyne Jones head to South Wales in a player-exchange transfer.

The deal is subject to both players passing medicals and agreeing personal terms but the Potters hope to conclude their move for the Nigerian international over the weekend.

Couldn't be more happy with this, odemwingie offers nothing up front,, he cannot hold the ball up for shit. Jones will be the target man we have been craving who can hold the ball up and play Campbell in. Not sure why he has not been playing as he has always done well at clubs.

I still think Odemingy can do well in the right set up but he isnt for us. Jones is a much better version of Cornelius. Happy with the swap. Bit of bargain hunting from Ole so far this window

Actually think that OGS is putting together a great little squad. If we go down I have a feeling we will be back pretty soon and stronger for it.

Good mate of mine in the know etc just confirmed he has signed ogandwingi gone the other way,

I'm not against his signing but I know a couple of Stoke fans & they're ecstatic at him leaving their club.
Called him lazy & uninterested & this was way before his recent fall out. They reckon he'll be good at first but then fail.
Let's hope OGS can motivate him for us to see him at his best. Positive result in Odemwingie leaving IMO.

OGS is a feckin genius!

And costs a fraction of what Cornelius cost us.

Hopefully can kick start career with us. He has only scored 4 PL goals and 3 assists in last 3 seasons (nearly 60 apps) and Stoke fans I've seen on twitter are pissing themselves we taking him calling him lazy lump of a forward with no goal threat. And he out of contract...glad we getting rid of Ode and we do need a target man so hopefully move will motivate him.

Ive always liked Kenwyne, reminds me a bit of Peter Thorne, I think we have got the best deal by off loading Odimwingie, its like playing with 10 men when he starts . Hopefully we wont go down howeverif we did the squad we got we would bounce back up tgats for sure
