Witts

Hope he plays and has a stormer. No doubt all those who don't like him or have turned against him will have a different view. And I respect that. No doubt however they will also too readily forget/ cast aside his contribution over many years, his loyalty and excellence. He stayed when others left. He lacks self confidence and this is worsened when he is criticised or maligned by his so called supporters. So the Norwegians are the cream at the moment. Great. But are they better. Mmmmm not so sure.! What I do know is this. He loves Cardiff. Gives his all for the club whatever his faults. Why not at this vital time just cheer widely and give him the great support he needs and deserves as he has done for us. Blooooooobirds! :ayatollah: and that includes you too Annis. :ayatollah:

I support every City player when they are out on the pitch

I am allowed my view on Whittingham, if he plays against Bolton, he def should shine against them :ayatollah:

Just not Premier Class in my opinion, yes he is a quality player, but to laid back and goes missing far to often for me.

Okay. Don't agree at all. But respect your opinion. Blue ( not Red ) Birds :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

The way i see it now he has finally got some competition for his position he will buck up his ideas and really play through his skin or get replaced completely

Look to a bright new Scandinavian future. We need to leave the past behind

Whits has done well for us over the time he has been with us, really like him, however let's get real, last season after a god start he faded away
This season very average or below' yes I want him to prove me wrong, as I said I really like him, but as Annie said Championship level at best. :ayatollah:

my favourite player of the last 5 seasons and a great servant who does genuinely love the club, But squad player at best at this level

Re: Witts

Needs time to get his game back. Two and a half seasons forced into a non natural role. A couple of weeks off to "de-Malky" and atune himself to Ole's style and he will be an important player for the last 10 games

I am a real Whitts fan but he is struggling at this level its obvious. What he does bring to the team is his dead ball skill which can get us out of the shit at anytime , and often has.
Wont do him any harm to fight for his place in my opinion.

BLUE NOT RED.

Nobody's turned on whitts.

He's made himself into a city legend, he's been fantastic for us all the years he's been here.

But this season if he's stays in the team we WILL be relegated, he's been one of our worst players this season. He needs some time out of the team to find his old self because he can do much better then he is doing.

Why continue to give him free kicks, they are picking that one out of row Z

like all jobs, there is no sentiment......he stayed as he was settled, believe me if it didnt suit he would be gone....il cheer him on but he has to show that he is capable of holding onto his spot......simples.. :ayatollah:

I'm praying noone/zaha or eikrem start taking set pieces, witts hasn't come close to scoring a free kick and his corners barely get past the first man.

His corners don't beat the first defender and when was the last time he scored a free kick? He really needs to recapture the form that prompted the "he does what he wants" chant.

He looks lost for confidence at the moment, he has had all his attacking ability driven out of him under Malky.
I dont think he has been anywhere near as bad as people make out but he is not at his best either.

Had a good game today, one free kick at the end and he gets slated, wow.

His corners seemed pretty good today, some dangerous deliveries that Hudson could've/should've put away. I seem to remember Eikrem barely hitting the first man from his corner, nothing said about that. Whitts done well today, free kick was a little off, but look at Eagle's one earlier, conditions must've been awful.

Eikrem was balls. Personally I think Whitts did well, people expect him to do too much
