ive been having a look on the wigan forum and there gutted that hes leaving.. saying hes the best defender they got so im looking forward to him signing hopefully be the cb that starts with caulker

Is he any good? I can't remember ever seeing him play.

Hes worth 5 Million so he cant be too bad I suppose

Anyone know how much we paid?? He was valued at around £10m couple seasons ago, but think Wigan only paid £3m for him and he has been unlucky with bad injuries for them

Wigan Athletic manager Uwe Rosler admits that Cardiff City are in talks with defender Ivan Ramis

Spanish defender Ivan Ramis appears to be heading to Cardiff City after Wigan manager Uwe Rosler confirmed a bid has been tabled.

The 29-year-old, who has only played six times for the Latics this Championship this season, is reportedly in the middle of a tug-of-war between the Bluebirds and Crystal Palace .

But with the spending power at Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's disposal, a move to South Wales seems likely, once their deal for Jo Inge Berget is concluded.

"There have been a couple of clubs who met the asking price and we gave Ivan permission to talk to them, that's all I can say," said Rosler.

"One is well documented. One is Cardiff."

Anyone's better than Turner, so this is very good news.

That is very unfair to Turner. If for example he had played against whu I do not think carlton cole would have had such an easy time.

Still dependant on him passing a stringent medical so if he's fit he's an asset

Becuase he was far too cheap. If Norwich had priced him at £5m Malky would have snapped him up
