Need a CB more than a forward, also can't see him being better than FC.

Considering he had an unsuccessful spell for Serie A's Udinese, which is a poorer league than the Premiership, you would have to think it would be a huge ask for him to make the step up to succeed here? He is young and still improving mind, so he might have improved since his Udinese spell. In our current position, I would still rather someone more proven mind. Wes Hoolahan wants to leave Norwich.

You do realise he was 16 years old when he went to Udinese? FFS There are tonnes on teenagers who do not settle on their first venture away from Home in a foreign land with a new language culture etc.

His scoring record is poor, though. Less than 1 goal every 4 games. Probably won't set the PL alight.

Either Udinese didn't think he was good enough or developing well enough to keep on, or he couldn't settle. They would have kept him otherwise surely?

HE IS NOT A STRIKER

Image

He is an enabler for other strikers, whether he plays as an assisting forward, or an attacking midfielder.
