i was telling anyone that would listen to have a few quid on them going down at 40/1..........they are still a value bet, longer odds than some teams on same points and above them.

When's the next stage of the Europa league?
Thu Jan 23, 2014 2:14 pm
They won't go down, far worse teams in the league
Thu Jan 23, 2014 2:22 pm
Far worse teams in the league but in current form they are the worst. Long may it continue!
Thu Jan 23, 2014 2:31 pm
Everyone knew that the jacks were in for a hard season, with the extra games in the Europa cup, most posters on here are hoping cardiff qualify for Europe next year through the fair play table,a big no for me because if we do avoid relegation this season, playing in Europe would bring up all sorts of problems
Thu Jan 23, 2014 4:45 pm
thought theyd been punching above their weight and would struggle this season.. said theyd be in the battle but not go down. there are worse teams sure, but theyve been really poor.

A bit rich coming from supporters of a club bottom of the league.

I see that you are the latest simpleton from down west to infest this forum, by the way, any advance on the 4,000 fans you said you were taking to brum.

my co-worker is a Swansea man and fears his side have done nothing to rectify the slide. With
Laudrup now agreed to be leaving end of season. the chairman no longer wants him the manager
no longer wants to be there and cause problems for players with motivation how does a man they
all know is leaving tell players to work 100%? Cardiff rightly i believe sack Mackay and install Ole.
Only need to look at players Cardiff are to bring in too see relegation is now unlikely. Swansea would
be in more problems now than Cardiff. This appears obvious

Don't understand the statement "look at the players Cardiff are to bring in". One player from the Norwegian league, one player from the Dutch league (who only signed for them at the beginning of the season) and a winger who Moyes considers to be third choice behind the very poor Ashley Young and the even poorer Nani. How does that make relegation unlikely. Top that with a manager who has no PL or top level management experience.......relegation unlikely? You sure?

i was a bit skeptical about the norweigans tbh but impressed so far... and zahas shit now he's a bluebird is he? if he had gone to jackland you lot would be saying he's the absolute lick.

So midway between bottom and top 10 while being in the last 32 of Europe.
Excellent

3 points off the bottom, a divided fan base & a wafer thin squad.
They're in this struggle as much as anyone else. The manager admits it, the pundits say it & the majority of their fans say it...

A divided fan base? Divided on what?
Chuckles you are better than saying "the pundits say it" surely
Thu Jan 23, 2014 11:35 pm
Therw is no doubt that they are struggling at the moment. A few injuries arent helping, they have a massive game on tuesday, lose that and they are right in a relegation dogfight.
Come mid march when the dust has settled on their European efforts the may well have one heck of a scrap on their hands!
Having said that, we are also struggling. .. and thats all I really care about
Thu Jan 23, 2014 11:36 pm
Divided on Laudrup. Laudrup Out was trending in twitter after Spurs.
Your manager says it & many of the pundits also predict a struggle for you, as are many of your fans... I've not said I agree or disagree, just pointing those facts out.
I think I will wait and see who you sign before saying for sure... But David N'Gog?

We have lost the last few and still seem in the same place (points off the relegation spots) as we were before the defeats.
Us losing doesnt give others points which is why im not concerned in the slightest.

your form is poor.............your team have over performed for 2 years.........extra games.......injuries due to extra games.. a manager leaving at end of season............and of course the coco pops affair............this wasnt wat happens at every club,,a training ground spat thats repairable............if a bloke wants to cave your head in with a brick,or your mates head in,,a quick hand shake and media cover up is not the end of it.

I know quite a number of their fans and they all say the same.
I remind them at least they have the striker who I believe will do the business for them but none are convinced. They all think they will struggle to beat any of the relegation teams they have to play and all of them will be delighted with a draw against us.
They are regretting playing in Europe now and are blaming Laudrup for wanting Europe glory over premier survival.
Thu Jan 23, 2014 11:42 pm
I have to be honest and say if I was a swansea fan id be concerned.
Will an fa cup run hinder u? What if you beat napoli? More importantly what if you lose bony and have to rely on ngog.
I dont think swansea will go down, but slippery slopes can be dangerous and thats where you are at at the moment.
Fulham at home next isnt it? A win can end the debate for a while.

David N'Gog. RoathMagic must be delighted.

Saying it like that doesn't exactly tell the full story though, does it?

It does as far as im concerned. As ive stated for the guys at the bottom to catch us based on their point tally over 22 games it will take 5 weeks to catch us - and thats with us losing every game in that timeframe.
