Tells you everything about the transfer if he's willing to take a step down to League 1 really... :?

Nigel Clough.

True point there, forgot that. They aren't tearing the league apart though are they?(Am I right in thinking they're mid table?) feel it'd benefit him to go to someone like Yeovil/Birmingham maybe

Exactly, a Malky mistake, very costly towards us tbf, could have got a decent striker from the lower leagues for that. Disappointed he's not even been on the bench though!

must be the only reason to go sheff utd is nigle clough as the poster above said, he was in some peoples opinion the best right back in the champ last season and arguable previous year aswell, another one of malkys transfer dealings that baffle me

Thought he would play Saturday before going out on loan.

Another one of Tans signings gone wrong.

Do you ever qualify your statements with evidence? It is a simple question, didn't " I can do no wrong Malky" describe Brayford as the best full back in the championship? Perhaps that statement influenced Tan's decision to sign him?
I enjoy sarcasm by the way!

Yep I remember tan scouting him, he was at pride park with lim for a Tuesday night game, had a quick word with him when he was queuing for a pint and burger at half time.

Tan signs the cheques, I guarentee Malky explored other right backs but Tan forced him to do what he wants.

Explains why Malky didn't play him, he didn't want him.

tan admits he knows nothing of football why would he even tell malky who to sign he probably didn't know who brayford was or did he watch us against derby and picked him out from there, brayford was a good player in the champ so tan must be learning then I suppose

Another excuse for Malkys piss poor transfer strategy, I have no doubt Brayford is going to play for a manager (Clough) who appreciates him, can motivate him and doesnt treat him like shit :laughing6:

Well nice of you to ask and yes I probably could as the squad he put together has managed to get us to the bottom of the league. Its a fact I wouldnt spend 8.5 mill plus add ons and wages on "one for the future" when we need players for NOW. Also I wouldnt have signed Brayford and admit that I had been chasing Theophile-Cathrine for 12 months before signing Brayford. Yes respect for Malky for what he did for us in the Championship and for his connection wth City fans but the guy doesnt walk on water and there are many a good championship manager who fail to cut it in the Premier League. :o
