' LATEST TRANSFER NEWS '

Wed Jan 22, 2014 7:28 pm

Wilfried Zaha has not had his medical for Cardiff City yet and his sighting at Bridgewater hospital today was for a toe injury, the deal to bring Zaha to Cardiff is agreed 'in principal' and once sanctioned by Moyes a medical will take place.

I was told this evening that City believe they will get Zaha and hope to have him signed by this weekend.

City are also hoping to tie up a deal for a left back in the next day or so.

Another position that Ole is looking at strengthening is the left sided centre half.

One deal to be done tomorrow is that of John Brayford who is going out on loan.

Don't know what to think about Zaha. Strikes me as a spoilt baby who kicks off when he doesn't get what he wants. Also a VERY overrated footballer, just wins shit loads of pens. On the plus side though he is pacey which is what we lack

Id be shocked if we don't get a striker in, Campbell has gave 100% effort all season, you cannot fault the lad but he needs help up there, plus what if he gets injured? sadly it seems that Cornelius isn't good enough or ready for the premiership and odemwignie doesn't seem to be the player he was before the QPR incident

Seeing as we are the only team in the Premier League without a penalty this season he would be very welcome! :D

BBC say otherwise regarding the medical

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25852715

Cardiff City are hopeful of signing Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha on loan until the end of the season.

Zaha, 21, underwent a medical on Wednesday and Cardiff want to complete the transfer before Saturday's FA Cup fourth-round tie at Bolton.

Any medical will take place in Cardiff if it happens. If there was any truth in this don't you think sky news would be all over it.

Sky sports news are not the only media group with sources and sometimes they do miss the exclusive, I am not saying that the BBC is correct all I am saying is that there a number of trusted sources contradicting Carls OP.

Most reporters from SSN and BBC get their info off Twitter these days, basically we could find the info they do these days.

Also West Ham are going in for Gunnarsson after Bolton game apparently.

Depends if Ole wants to keep him, think he is under contract until 2016 so we will wheel in a bit of money. Big Sam wants him and is a big fan according to a person I know who knows him personally, 4 million is the price Sam will offer if he does go in for him.

I'd take 4m for a player that has shown no form up to scratch for the premier legue.

I would take it as well, think he was brought in on a free but had to pay a 250k compensation fee for his age or something.

Great recoup on him if it happens, if it doesn't happen this window then he said it will happen in the Summer for sure.. all on Ole if he wants to keep him.

Jo Inge Berget on his way to England.

http://www.vg.no/sport/fotball/engelsk/ ... d=10120813

Not yet known if he is actually signing for Cardiff though.
Some info:

Mostly used as the !0'er at MOlde though (hanging striker/off midtfielder)

Again, not sure if he's signing for Cardiff, only that he's going to England.
