Medel v Toure stats.. are we getting the best out of him?

I think Medel has been brilliant this season - but looking at last seasons stats vs Yaya Toure it paints a different picture...

Obviously they are two completely different players, but does medal have more to offer?

I should mention aswell (as it includes 2013/2014 season) that these stats were compiled before the Cardiff v Man City game at the start of the season

Yaya is more box to box and can drive forward with the ball. He also has more power and is a better retainer of the ball in the sense that when he's shielding the ball it often takes 2+ players to get it from him. I think they're pretty incomparable to be honest.

I accept that - medal is a good player but toure is world class if you look at the stats though its seems he could net a few goals for us

Toure is versatile in the centre, Yaya offers a wide range of ability, man mountain. He can run past players with ease, been a free kick taker and scored a few, link up play etc.

Completely different players sorry. Toure can play anywhere in the middle and is one of the best midfielders in the world, aswell as being in brilliant form
