Update on New Signings " Ole has not given up "

Tue Jan 21, 2014 9:38 pm

I was told tonight, despite all the different media report Ole has not given up on Zaha and Ole is still favourite to sign him, also Ole is looking at a full back, winger and a striker.

Ole is currently in talks with 2 players, but nothing is imminent, so if there are to be any signings actually confirmed, it will be either at the end of this week or beginning of next week.

Contrary to media reports there is no set amount of £25mill,But Ole has been assured that if he identifies a player he wants, he will be fully backed by Tan.

We defo need a CB in this month.

Look at the right positions, might be greedy but a CB wouldn't go a miss like Steven Taylor, anyone with a bit of experience.

So, like the bookies can confirm - we're still favourites for Zaha (as mentioned previous).

There isn't a set budget on transfers (as Dalman confirmed)

We're interested in players from positions across park (as reported in Mail and various media outlets)

Things will happen end of week, maybe next (It's Wednesday tomorrow and deadline next week).......

Seriously, are there anyone out there who knows anything new?

I think Cornelius had had more minutes on the pitch than Zaha has had in the last 6 weeks . If he does come it's going to take a while to bring him up to match fitness.

But there again if the guy can't see a open gate then he will struggle to see anything else

I think if we don't bring some quality in then its the championship next season
The fact that it seems we are in for midfielders, full back, strikers and wingers seem to suggest we aren't quite good enough

im a happy fucker tonight

can't believe people still want a centreback. caulker and turner are two good young defenders......Hudson is tidy back up then connolly is 4th choice. that's fine. lets over estimate ourselves and think vidic or terry should be playing for us.

We are looking at Aguero or Negrado, They are both unhappy at not starting every Prem game ;)

Or an even trade, Campbell and Cornelius vs. Negredo and Aguero.

Both Campbell and Cornelius wont mind warming the bench in Man Shitty. and Aguero and Negredo will play every single game for Cardiff.. Good deal for all involved.. win, win and win.

We struggled to get players pre season and now it will be that bit harder now we are bottom.
Don't expect big signings.
