opinions seemed to have changed

Sat Jan 18, 2014 10:02 pm

The general opinion on here over the past few years has been that the jump from the championship to the pl had narrowed and the pl was weak. It was also considered right to add three top players to a championship winning squad rather than the 6,7,8+ that other sides had done and that Malky was seen as the best young manager in the country. Now its seems to have all changed.
Maybe even you lot can now appreciate how well we have done to get promoted and finish aas high as we have whilst having managers poached and still making profit.

Yeah you've done very well son.

Now you've had your beloved Jacks complimented which is clearly what you're fishing for sod off to bed.

Ciao.

As I told them at the time, that was only their opinion as it makes swallowing our achievements easier.

The premier league is an incredibly difficult league and many Cardiff fans still haven't got to grips with it yet.

Many still say "you are only 3 points off relegation" completely ignoring the face that it takes all most of the teams below us over a month to get 3 points on average, let alone actually GAIN 3 points on us. Premier league points are gold dust.

The fact they were promoted so easily and then spent over 50 million on the squad and now sit bottom of the league says everything.

I personally have always praised the Swansea model, and think the way malky went about things was totally wrong. What happened to we needed 11 michus as Tan said? Malky obviously did not listen to this and went and bought a cornelius instead. Ole has already bought 2 players for under 5 mil, which is the route I think Malky should have gone, looking for cheaper talent and bought 1 expensive player (caulker) and 6-8 cheaper players that have quality like eikrem and matts. Instead he went out and bought odemwingie, cornflake, Brayford, KTC, Medel who is good but overpriced when you compare to swansea canas who was free. The gap has closed IMO but malky pissed the coin up against the wall.

Music to my ears. All the sentiments I was banned for and abused for all in one neat paragraph.

Nobody can deny how well Swansea have done, but I'd also say that the level of the premiership has fallen slightly from its strongest... There's no denying that it's still very strong though.

Its a far superior premier now than it has been the last 2 seasons.

Were not Wolves, Bolton, Blackburn established premier teams ther first season the Jacks went up? Now look at them struggling in the lower leagues with one of them doing a double relegation.

 it is the truth, but the malky lovers will not have it.

How convenient. Come on Ian that's ridiculous.

We're Chelsea now European champions when Swansea were in the premier?

How do you know any relegated teams won't struggle next year etc etc

The Premier League is easy. If you turn the table upside down we're top. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I've got no problem in saying Swansea on their day are one of the top side in the league.
Nor do I have any jealousy about them playing in Europe or competing at the top end of the league from time to time.

I know a few jacks and they're alright.

But a fair few of Swans fans are deluded Fuckwit come lately's with very little sense of history of the club or it's rivalry with Cardiff.

That being said I will mostly praise your for your running ability, then canton mile has never seen the likes of it since.

Prem looks a bit diff this year. Anyone of 10 clubs could go down. We have it to lose with our home fixtures. You need to start picking up points and some form else you could be propping up the table after the derby. That's how tight it is. Malky was always seen as too defensive by most. He may have just kept us up but we will never know now.
