Our league position will make it difficult

Sat Jan 18, 2014 6:07 pm

IMO I think that our position at the foot of the table will now make it even more difficult for Ole to attract the decent players that we need. Having said that money talks, a nice wage and a nice bonus if we survive plus a release clause if we go down maybe the only way that we will attract the standard of players that we need.

Lets hope Tan and Ole are willing to splash the cash on a striker, CB, LB, RB, another winger and maybe another decent midfielder.

Thoughts?

Ole's been in the job a couple of weeks or so and in that time we've had our most difficult fixtures. The one thing i've noticed is the team look more attack minded since Malky's gone, and i'm including the game at sunderland home and Arsenal away.
Don't forget this is still very much Malkys squad albeit 2 new additions. Noone was magnificent today and I thought Mutch was good as well. We have a team that can survive, but we need more firepower to do so and i believe that striker will be arriving imminently! A new defender is a must. Catherine is a liability and flaps too much for my liking and we need a winger, this still could be Saha. It was good to see the team going at Man City, but the weak link for me is Whitts - he simply is not influential enough at this level. Anyway, its going to be tough, but with new additions I think we'll do it. :ayatollah:

West Ham home...The Hammers are better than us so that makes them the 19th best team in the PL as it stands
