They have brought in navas, aguero and negredo, we have had brayford and obemwingie , all said we were not outclassed by a strong man city team, which is promising for our three home games in February, on the face of Craig noones recent performances do you think he will still be with us come next season

I said the almost the same thing to my son while watching the game, Noone's form will be attracting the attention of the higher echelon managers.

No you don't. We have £23m roughly tied up in Cornelius and I wouldn't swap a stationery set for him. Liverpool paid £35m for Carroll and he's equally as useless. West Ham paid around £15m for him.

So thats £73m roughly tied up useless anti football lumps. Like I've said in the other thread, 3 of the bottom 4 are anti footballing teams. Everton were cautious under Moyes yet under Martinez they're seeing rewards.

Anti football is a plan B tactic to be deployed when plan A isn't working against free flowing teams like Barca and Arsenal. Its not an ethos or the philosophy an entire clubs foundation and training should be built on.

In all honesty, about 4. He's looked rubbish in every one. Only place he's looked any good is on YouTube, hence my reservations.

I hope this provided you with the 'to the point' answer you were seeking.

When did you see him complete 4 full games? Was he match fit?

Thanks for the genuine reply. :thumbright:

Mario you seem very up and down this past week, talking with you is like a tentative walk across a minefield, one poorly received message and Ka-boom you start throwing a wobbler. Are you suffering from SAD like Brownie? Would he share that new light? I'd pay to see you both staring into the light across a small table ALA Smith&Jones, who would blink first?

Are you lying Barney? Where and when did you see him for Copenhagen? I'd like to view this footage as I've on;y seen him briefly for Cardiff. My gut instinct was that he's crap. But I've been watching football long enough to know that somebody needs atleast 12 starts. Also, some players regain match fitness a lot quicker than others. A young player can be broken by home fans deriding his effort, give him a chance.

Nope. I saw 3 games of his and he did nothing. Well in one he nearly and should have scored and he hit the post but for large spells was quiet.

I'll give him until April 1st and if he still has done nothing by then I am regarding his signing as disastrous. There you go, I will not be slating him until April 1st. Thats his chance. February and March.

I find that bizarre JB, because when we signed him originally, you didn't mention that you watched him for Copenhagen, or that he did nothing in those games?

Infact - you seemed to berate the press for not rating him.

So by your epic mathmatical skills, Cornelius who cost 8 million cost 23 million and Andy Carroll, who cost an initial fee of 15 million only cost 15 million........

No one cares Barry. I used to troll this forum for the sake of it and never hid that fact. Now I'm here trying to educate Malky disciples. I would argue with you, I know you love that, but I got other things to do like sending Willy Wonka back to the chocolate factory.

Also, I was not asked if I had seen him play. At that time, I had seen him 3 times.

You learn to read as clearly I was making out that you are including the Cornelius wages and not Carrolls to prove your laughable point. Carrolls on about 100 grand.

we all tell a white lie now and then, I once to told my school friends I was related to Kieron Cunningham the Rugby League player, the moment I said that I was soo embarrassed, but thankfully it never came back to bite me. Verbal diahorrea is alot safer. :ayatollah:

So... They're both worthless. My point being these big fridges up front are crap. Tall strikers up front need to be technically gifted these days, even the likes of Drogba and Lukaku and Benteke, as big as they are, are gifted technically. Crouch is, he has good control and a touch.

Carroll's touch is heavier than a National Express coach. Cornelius has the turning circle of one.

All the best tall players who are supposed to hold up are still technically gifted. I pointed these 2 out, plus there are others, who aren't. Ibra is. Adebayor is. Crouch is.....and so on. There are plenty more.

My point didn't matter about wages - my point was that a lot of money has been wasted, funnily enough, by 2 teams now in the relegation zone, on two human fridges.

The point still stands.
