After seeing 3 Cardiff games, my advice; BUY FORREN!

The one world class centre back you so sorely need might not be easy to find in January. In fact, I'd wager it's impossible. That's why I recommend Vegard Forren. He's not a world class centre back. But he's better than both your starters and can also fill a a ball playing role to start attacks, with a great passing foot and the ability to pick out a killer pass.

He has already said he wants to play for Solskjær in Norwegian media. I can not understand it if Solskjær lets the window pass without getting a great CB. So unless he has someone else in mind, Forren is as good a choice as any. People complain about pace being his one weakness, but he's not THAT slow and what he does lack in pace he makes up for in understanding/ reading the game and good old fashioned positioning.

Both Caulker and Turner has been ripped apart at least twice in the past three games, a great CB is what you need to stay in the EPL.

BS, Forren is a great player, the only reason he didn't get a game in Southampton to prove it is that he was the previous manager's purchase and the new manager wanted a different style of defender.
