Looks like we are collapsing again.

As the game reaches its conclusion we collapse.

I thought we were a fit squad.

Championship team at best so I think we're going back down.

We're carrying far too many players who are not good enough for this level and we should have spent on more cheaper players than what we have done to bulk the squad out. Instead we bought Medel and Caulker and expected them alongside Bellamy to carry the team. Malky wasting money on players like Cornelius hasn't helped either but I do believe we'll go down. Didn't expect anything from this game of course but Theo, Gunnarsson and even Medel have let their men go numerous times.

I just cant see any strength or star quality in our squad.

It's Man city away what did you guys expect? the score isn't as bad as other teams that went there

Every team does exactly the same againat the big sides

They work hard all game to keep themselves in it and then if one goes in they fall apart. Happens to every weaker team in the league.

Nothing wrong with collapsing at the Etihad. Possibly the hardest stadium in the world to visit this season. Scored 6 against Spurs and Arsenal fs

Palace lost by 1 and give them a better game.

Too many players in our team being carried mate. I know its City but it was obvious to see. We need some quality in fast to make a difference otherwise we're going down.

Me too Jaws! They have played well today imo.kept going to the very end against the team with the best home record in europe! I see positives even if we lost 4-2.I believe Eikrem will shine the more he plays.thought he did well when he came on.I believe we will stay up possibly by the skin of our teeth but I would take that as no doubt would every city fan!! Keep the faith we may be bottom tonight but it can soon change!! Bloooooooooooobirds.

Palace didn't score.

Spurs lost 5-0, Man Utd lost 4-1, Arsenal shipped 6.

we played well 2nd half imo noone was outstanding, shame we haven't got another winger like him on the left side, hopefully mats is the answer or ole brings in someone who can, another striker is main priority though

Those teams would of been alot more open than us, palace and other bottom teams, therefore man city are likely to score more goals :thumbright:

We played well against the best (in most peoples opinion) team in Europe.

Pessimists, curl up and have a shit weekend.

Optimists, enjoy the Ole ride!

Saw the game on US TV and we did well against the only team with a 100% home record in the premiership this year. US commentators were praising the bluebirds for making MC not gave an easy day. Lots of promising signs for us providing we can bring in another couple of players and if we have enough time. Unfortunately we now sit firmly at the bottom of the table.

The bottom of the table will change.
Thanks for the view from across the pond though.
Plenty to be upbeat about. (unless you're Bakedalaska) :D

Before you say things like that, look at the team Man City put out v Palace, and v us.

Some comments on this thread make me want to spew, really, we played well today against the strongest team in the league. The team did well.
Cant say the same about us fans though. Really poor today IMO

Just seen the full match on Sky.

Feeling a lot better now. At thje time it felt we were under a lot of pressure and eventually gave in. From the replay I have watched we look well into the game until their 2 quick goals.

A above average performance than usual. Just hope we can build on it to see us through.

I think Yayas goal was slightly harsh on Noone, he was outmuscled and he was knackered trying to get back but the shift he put in was fully acknowledged so you could see the tiredness creeping in.

I hope we can build on it, we managed to get a goal in the last minute from a corner, we kept pushing to get a respectable score line.

Noone and Gunnarsson were given a lot of freedom and confidence to push forward to help Campbell on times.
