Why not warm up for today's game with the Norway match?

Sat Jan 18, 2014 10:58 am

Hello, newbie here. Just wanted to let you know that the young goalkeeper Nyland will very likely if not definitely start Norway's game against Poland at 2 PM (an hour before the Cardiff game) and since he seems like a likely signing for Cardiff either this or the next transfer window it could be good to see him in action.

I will be watching the first half of Norway - Poland and then switch over to Cardiff's game!

Best of luck with this afternoon's game & greetings from Norway :)

Welcome mate, is the Norway game on Sky, or a satellite feed? :ayatollah:

I would put my bet on an online stream being the best chance, but it's the only international fixture today so I wouldn't be surprised if a channel was airing it. (Don't have UK TV guides over here :P )

Cheers mate; I'll have a look later, although Leicester are playing Leeds lunchtime and it'd be nice to see Leeds get their arses kicked again, even though I'm not too fussed on Leicester either! :) :ayatollah:

Is posting links to streams kosher on these forums?

Huh? Hahaha. "No" and "Link away"? Contradictions!

I guess that simply means that it's allowed but 'kosher' not being a wide spread term :P (as substitute for "acceptable"/ "allowed")
So here's you go: link

And thanks for the welcomes 8-)

National team?

It's a league-team with players on a low level. Except for a few. Nothing to see, really.

Well yes, it's all players from the Norwegian league and other season-break leagues because none of the top leagues have an international break in January, but Nyland is playing (linked to Cardiff City) and had a hot game against Moldova on wednesday and thought I'd share in case people don't have anything better to watch an hour before the Cardiff game :)

Besides, even if some of the players aren't the greatest, the tactics are adventurous and exciting so it's bound to be full of goals both ways.

Sorry guys, Nyland is not playing today. Looks like almost all the team got rotated. However, Abdisalam Ibrahim is playing (surprised me) another player that I've seen mentioned here. But it was somewhat of a false alarm, sorry for that.

FYI, Høie (the current goalie) already had a massive blunder on Poland's goal. Don't even know why he's playing in the first place, he's fourth choice for Norway...
