It's sickening to think how someone could possibly do such a thing to such a young human being. Such sad news

Drylaw is on three of my routes in Edinburgh, it has been a strange place the last few days.

RIP Wee man.

Body has not been identified and the mother is in custody for questioning which is standard procedure.
No charges have been made.

This was hard though...

Denise Fergus, the mother of James Bulger, the two-year-old who was murdered in Liverpool in 1993, tweeted her condolences.

She said on Twitter: "My heart is aching for that poor boy Mikaeel Kular brings it all back so sad."

new there was something strange about this, he couldn't even open the door on his own never mind just walk out of the flat on his own

All speculation at the moment but the polie always seem to know in these cases and it's just a matter of time before the person behinds it slips up. Psychologists sit back back and watch and the guilty generally give all the signs they need for the police to reel them in.

Under Scottish law they police can detain the mother for 12/24 hrs.


SHE HAS NOT BEEN ARRESTED OR CHARGED


The police will use the time wisely because if charged she will not be able to face further questioning and will be put In front of the procurator fiscal on Monday morning.

There was always something not right with this one. A 3 year old boy dressing himself, unlocking all the doors of a block of flats and wondering out simply can't have happened so it had to be someone they knew.

Just 5 mins up the road from me. I've even been looking around my estate for him. Gutted to hear he's gone. Something very fishy with this whole scenario. Whoevers responsible should never see the light of day again and be made to beg for death every day.
