About 10+ years ago we played Notts Forest and they was a bit of trouble before the game on the bridge by the ground. I had tickets in the Forest fans stand, their equivalent of the grange end.......so it was a bit edgy, then bloody Earnie scores after about 2mins then he bangs in another 5min later........i tried to keep my gob shut whole game as there were some right loonys around me lol.......great times but scary

Probably the 5th time the subject has been brought up on here in the last few years, Ton Pentre away at Blaenrhondda back in the 80's was the worst .

Darlington early 90's

Only because 2 of us met 3 carriages full of Birmingham Zulus getting on our train at Sheffield on the way home.
Genuine pants shitting experience.

I cant even describe how much they hate CCFC.

my older brother says, millwall away mid -late 70's. CCFC
Fri Jan 17, 2014 8:20 pm
very hard time in Millwall every year........one year they fought us out of the ground at half time..........
Wales v Scotland Anfield { was a home game},but you wouldnt have thought so, most injured people ive ever seen anywhere.
Sheff United away..78 or 79..there were at least 3 proper pitch invasions by them, not the nonsense you see today.
Leeds FA cup around 74..........the walk to the station was the longest walk ever.........they just kept coming........
many scary encounters in stations,on trains,in services etc........but in grounds these 4 stand out

Crystal palace v Newcastle 99ish.
Sell hurst park train station or whatever it's called. Downstairs under the bridge. Palace fans one side and a group of Arsenal fans on the other platform. Loads of bottles and crap getting thrown until a train came offering some salvation

Definately Leeds away in 74. Fighting all the way there from the first minute off the train underthe railway bridge, and all the way back. A very long wat to the station.

West Brom 2004 got arrested and a 3 year ban for that day only 17 at the time, fighting from the M5 junction turn off down to the ground. When I got released from the cell the valley rams bus I was on didn't wait as the coppers wouldn't have none of it so had to catch a tram from West Brom to Birmingham new street, ended up jumping on the wrong one to Wolverhampton fair play to the tram steward he seen it was a mistake and let me stay on for the return journey back. When I ended up in Birmingham walking around trying to find new street on my own with a half ripped parker jacket and a city shirt on had a few stares to say the least and a group of boys walking past clapping their hands with clenched fists at me so got to say I was the most relieved person ever that day to actually get a train to cardiff

Now you may laugh at this but at the time f**k me I Sh1t myself. Chesterfield away think it was 92/3 pissed down all day and when I say pissed down, open terrace horizontal rain. My cousin drove up and we parked about three streets away from the ground. I may or may not have just left the hippo club before travelling up....so was a bit sketchy. After the game kicked off big time, police copter the works, all the boys were shepherded to the right....we managed to slip left towards the car. Feeling very smug and a bit worse for wear, we hear oy you Taffy cwunts. Look behind and about 12 scruffy looking jaun Kerrs giving it large, so I say fook it let's charge um... We did, and got battered. Moral of the story don't go to football after the Hippo club!
