City Baby clothes etc

Fri Jan 17, 2014 2:54 pm

Does anyone know where I can get some City baby wear in blue, the club shop don't do the mini kits or anything in blue all red!

Me and my mrs got a baby due in April, and for my first I got him some city stuff and want to do the same for the new one when he arrives!

Any info will be greatly appreciated.

I don't understand people who will only go for Blue but don't mind the new badge. Surely if you don't want to buy red you should also not want to buy the new badge.

Therefore, I'd look on ebay and avoid the club shop.

I don't like the badge either, and I personally won't wear anything with it on, however both my nephew and son have the blue tops for this season as they wanted it and I'm not telling a 5 + 7 year old no because of the beermat stamped on the front, all I expected from the club was to have mini kits available in all 3 colours or even some baby grows with just a bluebird on, so we can make our own minds up on what we want to buy not be told by the dictatorship.

I have accepted that I won't be able to take the photo of the 3 of them in their blue tops now

On a side note, when I bought my nephews top last week, the girl in shop tried all sorts of tactics and lies to get me buying the red instead, I firmly told her that I'm buying the blue one or I'm leaving her choice, she soon shut up! These excuses ranged from the blue top is fitted differently to the others & the red looks 'nicer'!

Good point. It's a shame these kids are growing up with the red and crap badge and that's all they know. I agree kids shouldn't be penalised for supporting their local club, it does make a nice change to see them it city tops rather than man u etc, just such a shame were not seeing it in a traditional kit

I know its a shame that its being ruined for the next generation, especially as a lot of kids between 5-12 have seen us in blue and in my case seen the old badge and kits and keep asking for them.

I'll keep my quiet protest going and refuse to buy anything for myself with the beermat on and hopefully one day everything will return to normal.
