When you look at the team Malky has built, only Andrew Taylor and Jordon Mutch are players Malky previously worked with when taking them on loan to Watford. I can't think of any other player Malky previously worked with or previously had connections with?

It will be interesting to see if OGS can bring in other players apart from ex Molde or Man Utd reserves in the future. Jelle Vossen is the latest player we're linked with, but the 7 million fee allegedly quoted for a striker having just over a 1 in 2 game strike rate in Belgium seems another risk when you consider the likes of Afonso Alves averaging a goal a game in Holland and then being a huge flop in the Premiership. I would have rathered us sign Long and Jelavic, 2 players with Premiership experience who have proven they can play well and score goals in the Premiership.

Don Cowie was another, as dor Jelavic....3 goals in 18 months and 16 in 60 games is hardly proven

Yes Cowie was another one. Jelavic was awesome for Everton in his first season. He was back up to Lukaku this season but I think we needed a good target man like Jelavic. He would have given us something we're currently missing imo.

Yes he is. For Molde he signed players from these nations leagues.

Joshua Gatt - Austria.
Emmanuel Ekpo - USA.
Aliou Coly - Senegal
Agnaldo - Brazil
Joona Toivio - Sweden

I have most likely forgot some but it shows that he is looking other places than his backyard. He knows exactly what players he need.
When he needed a winger for Molde it had to be one with great acceleration/pace and a very attacking mentality as they lacked those qualities in the squad.

He found Joshua Gatt in Austria. An American who runs 100m at 11.00. 68 matches 17 goals.
Tbh i dont care if they are all Ex Man U players as long as he knows they can do the job he brings them in to do.

Who cares where they come from or where they used to play? Let's judge them on how they play.

As for Jelavic, no thanks, worst striker I've seen start a game this season, awful when he came down with Everton.

Damn you Ole, you've signed two players, one which came on for his debut and looked calm as ever on the ball and heavily influential and the other you signed is a highly rated talent which Manchester United came in for!!

Of course he is, don't believe the bloody media, as mentioned above he made a great Molde team from foreign destinations.
