Has Joe signed a new contract with celtic yet? If not please OGS bring him home. And not just for nostalgia reasons. I watch celtic regular and he is their stand out player. So consistent. Played in champs lge and never looked out of place. They missed him badly in this seasons group stage when he wasn't fit.

Looks like he is about to sign a new contract with Celtic. However a big step up from Scottish league to Premier league and I don't think he would improve our team or performances.

On SSN last night it was saying that he still hasn't signed, nor Samoras

Celtic stated in the press yesterday that things looked positive with regards to Ledley and they were not far off.

I have a feeling he will stay in the one-team league, but there are similarities in his curent 'stance' (holding out on a contract) at Celtic

I dont understand why people are reluctant/unaccepting to the possibilty of a top player from the scottish prem coming to the club but are drooling over Eikrem from the Norwegian league

The scottish leage is miles ahead of the norweigian league and at least Ledley has had some champions league experience - something no one in our current team has had (apart from bellamy obviously)

I would love to see ledley come back to cardiff

Who do we have who can player better than ledley at Left Mid?

He would bring more to the table in this season than whitts or cowie, it would give us more options in the squad & he would be cheap if we got him back as currently only 6 months left on his contract

We didn't sign Eikrem from the Norwegian league, we signed him from the Dutch league.

The big benefit of Ledley is his engine. He wouldnt stop all game. I persoanlly don't think he has the quality for the premiership, but he has looked comfortable(ish) in the Champs League.. He would definetly give his all for us though. If it wasnt for Jones bad managment of contracts he would still be at the club and probably would have been one club player. Would've broke the appearance record for us

Well it's simple for me. As others have pointed out he's a championship player IMO.
Puts in a shift but so does Cowie. We can aim much higher as he's no better than we've got.
